Hardcover Baby Books

These baby books are printed by Blurb. They are a nice hardcover book. My sisters have used their books from this company for 3 years now, and the books are still in good shape.

The different prices are due to the different types of paper used inside the book. Please read Paper Weight section at the bottom of the page for more in-depth information about the different options available.

NOTE: Currently, I have 5 of these books available, all pre-orders to make sure they were good quality and to see what the paper was like. I bought them on sale, so am passing on the savings to you. Paper Weight Information

100# Superfine eggshell paper - this is top quality uncoated paper, with a nice weight, and is lovely for writing on. A lot less likely to smudge, also the pricier option.
100# Premium matte paper - This is also a nice weight of paper, with a smooth feel. This paper has a coating, and even though you can write on coated papers, the ink may be more likely to smudge before it dries due to the coating. A bit cheaper than the eggshell paper option.
80# Semi-Matte paper - This is a thinner paper than the previous two. It also has a coating on it, so even though you can write on coated papers, the ink may be more likely to smudge before it dries due to the coating. This is your most economical option.
My personal opinion: I love the luxurious feel of the superfine eggshell paper option; the weight of it, and I like that writing on it will be a better experience than the other two options, so this would be my top pick.
That being said, my sisters both have books with the coated papers (not sure about the weights) and they have served them well. You will need to be careful which pens you use, as some will be more likely to smudge than other options. So if you're going for a more economical option, then either the 100# premium matte or the 80# semi-matte papers will definitely work for you.
